My Story

My journey to becoming a therapist began long before I ever imagined opening a private practice.

In high school, I felt a strong desire to help others. I joined the Peer Assisted Leadership Support (PALS) program, where I mentored troubled middle school students.

What made that experience especially meaningful was that not long before, I had been in their shoes. I was once a troubled middle school student myself, navigating grief after my parents’ divorce at a young age.

While many blessings came from that season of life, it was also a defining moment that shaped my compassion, resilience, and deep empathy for others who are hurting.

Faith has always been a central part of who I am. I would not be where I am today without the love of the Father, who has guided me every step of the way. I give Him all the glory for everything I have in this life.

A major turning point in my journey came in May of 2025, when my beloved nanny Daisy passed away. Her death was deeply painful, but it also became a moment of clarity and faith for me. It was during that time that I felt called to step out in faith and start my own private practice. The daisy in my logo honors her memory and represents the love, strength, and steadiness she poured into my life.

Another flower in my logo, the sunflower, represents Kadience—my best friend’s daughter, who was tragically murdered in a double murder-suicide in January of 2022. Kadience’s favorite flower was the sunflower. Including it in my logo is both a tribute to her life and a reminder that mental health matters and deserves the same attention, care, and urgency as physical health.

These losses, along with my personal experiences and faith, have shaped the heart behind my work. My practice is grounded in compassion, trauma-informed care, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered on their path toward healing.

I am incredibly thankful for my husband and our two wonderful children, whose love and support mean everything to me.

I am also deeply grateful for every client who entrusts me with their story and allows me to walk alongside them in their healing journey.

This practice is more than a career—it is a calling.
